faq
We try to make the FAQ section as useful as possible, but keep in mind that an introductory call is always best to help you understand our services and what we can do for you!
"I don't see a list of songs that you play on the website, what can I expect when choosing songs?"Palmy: You can name any songs, and I'll arrange and perform them for you. However, if you do not have songs in mind, we will work together during our consultation to create a list based on your vision.
"What is the keyboard that you will use? And do you provide a sound system?"Palmy: I use Yamaha's DGX650, and Casio's CDP S100, alternatively. These are high-quality digital pianos with weighted keys and sensitivity that will allow me to mimic actual grand piano sounds. We do have our own sound systems (speakers and instrumental mics), but if you have your own, we will work with your planner to make sure that the keyboard can be integrated. If you have your own instruments to provide, whether another digital piano or an actual piano, I'd be happy to work with you on that as well as long as it is of high quality.
"What is your cancellation policy?"Palmy: I understand that there are circumstances where cancellation is necessary. When making the final decision to book, you will receive a cost breakdown contract where you will sign and pay a $100 per instrumentalist deposit; this amount will roll-over into the final cost if there is no cancellation. There are more delicate rules around cancelling last minute (5 days prior to the event), but I'd love to explain that to you in our call and make sure that you understand comprehensively :)
"Do you only service Seattle area? How do you charge for travels?"Palmy: I serve Seattle, Greater Seattle Area, and occasionally other parts of Washington/Oregon for special circumstances. Clients will be responsible for traveling fee and lodging if needed. Although the first 15 miles of traveling from downtown Lynnwood is free! I'd love to explain more in our call :)
